Photographic tour along the route of the Golfariz Mills

A photographic route in the heart of nature designed to teach you how to observe, feel and photograph calmly, in one of the most beautiful heritage and scenic spots in Galicia.
📸 Presentation of the route
This route is not designed to take ‘the best photo’, but for something much more important: learning to see things differently. In a context where we are constantly taking photos, we often forget to stop, observe the light, understand the scene and feel the place before photographing. Throughout the tour of the Molinos de Golfariz, we will work precisely on this photographic gaze: more conscious, unhurried and personal. It is a hybrid experience, with a short initial introduction and a main practical part in the heart of nature, where you will learn to:

✔︎ Photograph the landscape and heritage with greater sensitivity.

Because photography is not just about capturing images, but about looking, interpreting and feeling what is in front of us. A route for taking photographs without rushing, connecting with the landscape and rediscovering the environment through the camera... or simply through your eyes.

🌿 About the Golfariz Mills Route
Located in the parish of Pardemarín (A Estrada, Pontevedra), the Golfariz Mills Route is a trail that runs along the banks of the Golfariz stream, among riverside forests, traditional bridges, ethnographic elements and old water mills linked to the historical use of water for grinding grain.
It is an area of great scenic and heritage value, where nature and traditional architecture coexist harmoniously, offering multiple photographic opportunities: moving water, stone, native vegetation, small waterfalls and spots of great visual interest.
The restoration and enhancement of the route is thanks to the work of Manuel López Castiñeiras, a local resident who, after retiring as a stonemason, promoted its cleaning, restoration and conservation, allowing this ethnographic site to be preserved and made accessible for everyone to enjoy.
Along the route, we will discover several traditional mills, bridges, a stone fountain, a small waterfall and different points of special photographic interest integrated into the landscape.

✔︎ You don't need a professional camera (you can attend with a compact camera or smartphone).
✔︎ Brief initial explanation + guided practice during the tour.

The main objective is to learn by doing, in direct contact with the environment and adapting explanations to the level of each participant.

❗ Terms and conditions of participation and booking
✔︎ Participation is open to persons aged 16 and over.
✔︎ Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
✔︎ Registrations must be made in advance using the appropriate form.
✔︎ Places are reserved in order of registration and upon payment in advance by Bizum or bank transfer.
✔︎ Once payment has been received, a confirmation email will be sent with the reserved place and all the detailed information about the activity.
✔︎ Participation fee: €30 per person.
❌ Cancellation policy
✔︎ Cancellations made more than 7 days prior to the date of the tour will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid.
✔︎ Cancellations made between 7 days and 48 hours before the start of the activity will be entitled to a 50% refund.
✔︎ Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will not be eligible for a refund, due to the advance planning of the activity and the limited number of places available.
✔︎ If you are unable to attend, your place may be transferred to another person, provided that the organisers are notified in advance.
✔︎ If the activity has to be cancelled due to organisational reasons, adverse weather conditions or failure to reach the minimum number of participants, a full refund will be offered or the option to change to another available date.
📩 Registration
To participate, you must complete the registration form, accepting the conditions of participation and booking and the cancellation policy.
Once the application has been received, instructions will be provided for making the payment and formalising the reservation of the place.
